Age Guidelines

Successful library programs are designed with age in mind. Please note this program’s age guidelines will be enforced for all active participants.

Photo Permission

Library workers often take pictures during library programs to use in promotional materials and online. If you do not want your photo used, contact programs@mfplibrary.org.

Lit Acrylic Signs

Create your own neon sign using engraved acrylic, LEDs, and 3D printed battery boxes. Make electric holiday décor, celebrate your small business, or inspire yourself with a bright affirmation! We’ll create designs in Canva, then cut and engrave them on the Glowforge. 

Do you have a teen who would be interested in this project? Teens can attend the Teens Make session on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm to make their very own lit acrylic sign. Click here to register a teen for the Teens Make class.

Attendees must be a Mammen Family Public Library card holder in order to use makerspace equipment. TexShare and Student Passport cards do not qualify for use of makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration.
