Age Guidelines

Successful library programs are designed with age in mind. Please note this program’s age guidelines will be enforced for all active participants.

Photo Permission

Library workers often take pictures during library programs to use in promotional materials and online. If you do not want your photo used, contact programs@mfplibrary.org.

Kids Chess Club

Kids Chess Club will be coached every other Monday from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. Instructor-led sessions are perfect for kids ages 6-14 who want to learn new skills and strategies. The library will provide chess mats and pieces. 

The dates led by Complete Chess coaches are:

January 13th and 27th

February 10th and 24th

March 10th and 24th

April 7th and 21st

May 5th
