Join facilitator Steve for this eight-part series as we learn the history of America through its iconic places, symbols, and objects! Each of the weekly gatherings will start with a film screening (approx. 50 minutes), followed by a short group discussion. 

This eight week series will begin on September 6th and end on October 25th. You can join the series at any time, and you only need to register once. Below is the series overview, along with the video topics covered each week.

Series Overview:

In this eight-episode documentary series, David Rubenstein explores America’s 400-year history through a close examination of iconic national symbols such as the Hollywood Sign, Fenway Park, American cowboys and the Statue of Liberty: indelible artifacts, places, and archetypes. Each episode tells the story of an American symbol to reveal its origins, significance and the arc of its resonance.

September 27th: The Cowboy
October 4th: The Statue of Liberty
October 11th: The American Bald Eagle
October 18th: Stone Mountain
