**This class was originally scheduled to take place in May, but was rescheduled due to inclement weather.**
Join us for a woodworking class where we will be making a mini plant stand. The plant stand can sit on a tabletop and be adorned with plants or other trinkets. All supplies will be provided for each registered participant to complete one plant stand to take home.
Important Class Notes:
We will be outdoors in the library’s parking lot so please dress accordingly. All participants will need to wear close-toed shoes during the class. All loose fitting clothing and long hair will need to be tied back when using the machinery.
All participants must complete a MFPL Makerspace Liability Waiver prior to the start of the class. Any attendees under the age of 18 will need to have a MFPL Makerspace Liability Waiver filled out by a parent or guardian before they begin the class. Please bring the completed form with you to the class or arrive a few minutes early to fill it out before the class starts. Safety is our priority as we learn how to operate and use woodworking equipment.
Attendees must be a library card holder in order to participate in this class and to use makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration for this class.
While you do not need any prior experience in using woodworking equipment, the goal of this class is to learn how to operate and safely use woodworking equipment. We ask that attendees come to the class with a desire to learn how to use the equipment in a hands-on class format.
