Calling all tabletop role-playing game enthusiasts! Are you ready to join a party, jump into a new world, or weave a tail of adventure through space and time but don’t know where to start?

Join us for this workshop where you can get a sampling of what’s out there in the TTRPG world, hear about the multitude of games available, and learn a few tips on how to become a game master!

In this workshop we will:

Go over several game styles and systems
Cover both the complex and simplistic stylings of creating characters
Look behind the curtain a bit at the role of game master
Gain some experience-points by playing a quick game
Leave having been exposed to the vast treasure trove of free-resources out there

Marc Dunlap has been playing TTRPGs for over 10 years, has been a game master for almost 8 years now (running both in-person and online campaigns), and has dabbled in the world of game creation as well.  He loves the creative atmosphere of table-top-games and finds the ability of these games to bring diverse people together under the banner of cooperative storytelling to be one of the most inspirational and joy-filled experiences he has had.
