Successful library programs are designed with age in mind. Please note this program’s age guidelines. Attendance at all library programs is subject to staff discretion.

Library workers often take pictures during library programs to use in promotional materials and online. If you do not want your photo used, contact programs@mfplibrary.org.

Join the Lindheimer Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas (NPSOT) for their monthly chapter meeting! These meetings are free and open to the public. The purpose of the Lindheimer Chapter shall be to promote conservation, appreciation and utilization of the native plants and plant habitats of Texas through education, outreach and example.

We start at 5:30pm with social time, have a short business meeting at 5:40pm, and present the Plant of the Month at 5:50pm, followed by our monthly speaker.

August’s monthly speaker will be Tracy A. Brown, on “Fruitful Choices.” The talk explores a variety of fruit-bearing trees and shrubs that thrive in Central Texas, focusing on both native species and well-adapted cultivars. You’ll learn how to select the right plants for your space, and support pollinators and wildlife.
