Age Guidelines

Successful library programs are designed with age in mind. Please note this program’s age guidelines. Attendance at all library programs is subject to staff discretion. 

Photo Permission

Library workers often take pictures during library programs to use in promotional materials and online. If you do not want your photo used, contact programs@mfplibrary.org.

Registration is required.
Registration starts: 04/16/2026 @ 4:00pm

Registration end: 05/07/2026 @ 4:00pm

The following ages are allowed in this program:

  • Adults (18 and older): Eligible to attend independently.
  • Youth (16–17 years old): May attend with signed parental consent.
  • Youth (10–15 years old):
    • Must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
    • The parent/adult must actively participate and work alongside the youth during the program.
    • Each parent/adult may supervise only one youth.

Please note: Additional siblings or children who are not registered participants may not attend, even as observers. This policy ensures a safe and focused environment for all attendees and instructors.

Mother’s Day (Flowers) Drop-in… 

Stop by the Makerspace and make a bouquet of flowers for Mom using a variety of Makerspace equipment.

  • Hand die-cut flowers 
  • Melted 3D filament 
  • Laser engraved acrylic
  • Foiling machines

There may be a number of sons and daughters picking Makerspace flowers so please be patient with the equipment and limit supplies used.  

 

Attendees must be a Mammen Family Public Library card holder in order to use makerspace equipment. TexShare and Student Passport cards do not qualify for use of makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration.
