During this class, we’ll be covering:

E-Readers & Library Apps (Which one do I need?)

Love books, but don’t want to carry them around all the time? Already have an E-Reader but having trouble with it? Want to listen to audiobooks in the car with your phone? It is hard to keep up with technology, and it can be frustrating when you have to work so hard at something in order to get to the thing that helps you relax (reading)!

Let’s learn about E-Readers and library apps. We will quickly go over the different digital resources we offer here at Mammen Family Public Library, and then dive into the pros and cons of owning an E-Reader versus using a library app. Plus we should have some time to troubleshoot any personal issues you might be having with your own “digital library set up”.

Topics discussed during this class:

Mammen Family Public Library’s digital resources
What is an E-Reader (versus a tablet)
Which app might be right for you (or maybe all of them are)

Not every Let’s Learn tech class requires the use of a digital device, but it is recommended that you bring in your own personal device(s) if you have a specific question or desire individual (on-topic) help concerning your device.
