Interested in learning the Italian language or brushing up on your language skills? Join us in the Italian Group, which meets weekly.

Beginning in September 2023, the Italian Group will meet to have a 2-hour instructor-led class from 10:00am-12:00pm on the first Thursday of each month. On the remaining Thursdays each month, students are welcome to gather for a one-hour Conversation Circle program from 10:00am-11:00am to practice speaking Italian with other members of the community. The Conversation Circle meetings are not instructor-led. All levels of Italian language learners are welcome in this Italian Group program.

We will be following the textbook “Easy Italian: Step-by-Step” throughout the program. The library has a copy of the book that can be referenced in the library, but cannot be checked out. We recommend purchasing a copy of the book if you would like a copy to follow along at home.

December Meetings:

Thursday, December 7th, 10:00am-12:00pm: Instructor-Led Class
Thursday, December 14th, 10:00am-11:00am: Conversation Circle (not instructor-led)
Thursday, December 21st, 10:00am-11:00am: Conversation Circle (not instructor-led). This will be the last scheduled meeting date in 2023.
Thursday, December 28th: There will be no meeting this week due to the holidays.

By registering for the Italian Group, you will receive a reminder the day before each scheduled meeting through the end of the year. If you are on the waitlist, you are more than welcome to try and get a seat at the start of the class.
