Age Guidelines

Successful library programs are designed with age in mind. Please note this program’s age guidelines. Attendance at all library programs is subject to staff discretion. 

Photo Permission

Library workers often take pictures during library programs to use in promotional materials and online. If you do not want your photo used, contact programs@mfplibrary.org.

Come play Hong Kong mahjong at the library! Practice your mahjong skills as you enjoy snacks and discussion with fellow mahjong players. The library has four Hong Kong-style mahjong sets for use by attendees, which can accommodate 16 players. You may bring your own Hong Kong set if you prefer, but if all the library sets are in use, players are required to take turns playing games. 

The library’s Hong Kong mahjong sessions are not led by an instructor, but attendees are always willing to teach each other! By registering for this program, you will also be signed up for future meeting dates this year and will receive a reminder the day before each gathering.
