Have you ever wanted to find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow?  Well, no gold here, but we do have lots of fun colors you can play with!  In this class, we will discuss the use of cast acrylic sheets in the Glowforge, and how you can plan your design to make colorful layered decorations.

There will be a Maker’s Lab Thursday, March 13th where you can signup for a timeslot to cut out your “golden pot” (or whatever you design).  You may also register for any Open Maker Hours to finish your project(s) as well.

*Scrap acrylic will be available for use in your projects on a first-come-first-serve basis.

You may want to purchase your own Glowforge Proofgrade materials beforehand in order to insure you have all the colors and material types you need for your personal project(s).

Attendees must be a Mammen Family Public Library card holder in order to use makerspace equipment. TexShare and Student Passport cards do not qualify for use of makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration.
