Interested in improving your French language skills? Join us in the Conversation & Reading French Group. In the Conversation & Reading group we will practice conversational, reading (novels, stories), and writing skills. All levels of French language learners are welcome to join us for these instructor-led sessions; however, this Conversation & Reading group is best suited for students who have some prior exposure to the French language.
The Conversation & Reading French Group generally meets weekly each Wednesday during the fall semester for a 1-hour instructor-led session from 11:00am-12:00pm. The fall sessions will begin on Wednesday, September 4th.
We currently do not plan to use a particular textbook for this fall semester of the Conversation & Reading group. The instructor will notify students of any suggested materials during the class.
By registering for the French Group, you will receive a reminder the day before each scheduled meeting through the end of the year. If you are on the waitlist, you are more than welcome to try and get a seat at the start of the class.
Interested in practicing the basics of the French language? The Beginner French Group also meets weekly on Wednesdays. The Beginner French Group follows a more structured class setting and meets from 10:00am-11:00am. All levels are welcome in that group as well, although students who are at the beginner to early intermediate levels may be most comfortable in the Beginner group. You can find more information about the Beginner French Group by clicking here. Students are welcome to attend either or both groups.
