Join us for our newest art series, Art Inspired by…! In this monthly program, instructor Jennifer will choose an artist, an art movement, a period of history, or even the natural world around us, and lead us in creating our own works of art inspired by that influence. We will work with a variety of art mediums, including oil pastel, soft pastel, acrylic paint, and more.

This month, we will create a cactus still life using oil pastel on black paper. Learn to draw your favorite cactus, such as prickly pear, saguaro, or agave. In addition to the oil pastel, you may choose to add extra emphasis to your drawing by using glue tinted with black paint.
