Basic Photography (Camera & Phone)
This will be a “guided hands-on” class, where we will walk around the Library’s garden spaces, taking pictures. While there will be some photography *accessories (supplied by the Makerspace) for all to use, participants will be expected to bring their own Cameras/Phones. This program takes place outside (in fair weather), so dress accordingly.
Marc Dunlap (the Makerspace Tech. leading the class) will be available for general guidance, help with the provided *accessories, and assisting with some basic “tips-&-tricks”. If you plan on using your Cellphone/Mobile-Device, you may also seek some help with “light editing” of your images.
- If you have questions about this program, please email Marc Dunlap at mdunlap@mfplibrary.org
- For editing help – You may also want to check out these YouTube videos in advance: LINK1 / LINK2
- *This is not a promotion of these videos, nor does it mean the library agrees with or condones all content within the videos; these are being supplied for personal educational purposes only.
Attendees must be a Mammen Family Public Library card holder in order to use makerspace equipment. TexShare and Student Passport cards do not qualify for use of makerspace equipment. Please include your library card number on the registration form below so that we can confirm your registration.
