Summer Library Program:

June 8, 2024 – August 3, 2024

Teens ages 13 – 18 can apply to be a Summer Library Volunteer. Applications open April 29 and will close May 29th. Volunteers must complete the application, attend Volunteer orientation on May 31st or June 1st, and commit to volunteer at least six of the eight weeks of SLP in order to be accepted as a volunteer.

Join us for eight weeks of adventure at the library! From infants to adults, we have something for everyone! Make sure to pick up a Program Guide to see all of our activities, and mark your calendar for the following days:
  • June 12: Tie-Dye and Outdoor Games (All Ages)
  • June 19: Drop-In Planetarium Viewing (All Ages)
  • June 22: One Man Show: Nikola Tesla: The Master of Lightning (Adults)
  • June 26: Foam Party (All Ages)

Download the Beanstack app to track your reading all summer long! Read 20 minutes a day (or 120 minutes a week) to earn a free book for all eight weeks of SLP (June 8 – August 3). If you’ve used Beanstack in the past (last summer or for one of our year-long challenges), simply join the Summer Library Program challenge when it opens on June 1st! Minutes logged beginning June 8th count towards your weekly goal. See the video below for a quick overview of the Beanstack app.
