Summer Library Program:

June 7, 2025 – August 2, 2025

Teens ages 13 – 18 can apply to be a Summer Library Volunteer. Applications open May 1st and will close May 24th. Volunteers must complete the application, attend Volunteer orientation on May 31st, and commit to volunteer at least six of the eight weeks of SLP in order to be accepted as a volunteer.

Join us for eight weeks of adventure at the library! From infants to adults, we have something for everyone! Make sure to pick up a Program Guide to see all of our activities, and mark your calendar for the following days:

All Ages:

  • June 11th – Touch a Truck
  • June 18th – Tie-Dye and Yard Games
  • June 25th – Lucas Miller, The Singing Zoologist!
  • July 2nd – Talent Show for Families
  • July 9th – Author Visit: Kazu Kibuishi
  • July 16th – The Ramazinis! Two-Person Circus
  • July 23rd – Wildlife on the Move!
  • July 30th – Magic Show with John O’Bryant
  • August 2nd – Library Mini Golf

Adults:

  • June 10th – Birds 101 with Mitchell Lake Audubon Center
  • June 17th – Bats 101 with Bat Conservation International
  • June 24th – Toxic Plants with the Native Plant Society Lindheimer Chapter
  • July 1st – Composting with Comal County Master Gardeners
  • July 8th – Feral Hog Management with Comal County AgriLife Extension Office
  • July 15th – Native Pollinators with Texas A&M AgriLife
  • July 22nd – Snake Identification and Safety with Hill Country Snake Removal
  • July 29th – Chronic Wasting Disease with Texas Parks & Wildlife
