About Kids Chess Club
The game of chess is older than 1500 years, with origins dating back to possibly the 5th century. It has earned a reputation for being a thinking game. This program welcomes young thinkers of all skill levels from very beginner to expert. Here you can expect your child to learn how to play chess. That entails strategy, tactics, theory, etiquette, rules, history and even how pieces move.
Being a deterministic game chess is driven completely by the mind. This provides many cognitive benefits such as concentration, enhanced memory, self-control, creativity, and that’s just to name a few. All these benefits by simply playing a game and having fun.
Registration does not carry over to all sessions. Please register your child for each individual session they will attend. If you have any questions please email Mr. Javier.
