This Creative Studios program is an Open Studio.
Open Studio programs provide space and tools for attendees to work on their own projects at their own pace, with more informal guidance from staff. For more extensive instruction and skills training, try Discover and Create programs.

Age Guidelines
Successful library programs are designed with age in mind. Please note this program’s age guidelines. Attendance at all library programs is subject to staff discretion.
Photo Permission
Library workers often take pictures during library programs to use in promotional materials and online. If you do not want your photo used, contact programs@mfplibrary.org.

Join a small group of creators in using our Makerspace equipment — i.e., laser engraver, 3D printers, digitizing equipment — and our crafting equipment — i.e., Cricut cutters, paper crafting machines, sublimation and heat press — to learn and grow your skills. Please bring your own materials for your projects. Our Creative Studios staff are available during Open Studios to help bring your ideas to life! Reach out to maker@mfplibrary.org or stop by with any questions.
Registration requires some project details so that we can plan accordingly. Please cancel if you are unable to attend, so waitlisted patrons may have the opportunity to participate.
Please note that Creative Studios is a shared creative environment. There may be several patrons needing assistance during Open Studios, and we appreciate your patience as we strive to support everyone. If it is your first visit, we will need to take some time for paperwork, an introduction to the space and equipment, and potential troubleshooting. Some projects may also take extra time or more than one visit to complete.
Open Studio programs are designed for adults 18+. A valid Library of Things library card is required to attend Open Studio programs; please include your LoT library card number when you register so that we can confirm your registration. Children 10 and above may attend Open Studios with an adult Library of Things cardholder.
