Successful library programs are designed with age in mind. Please note this program’s age guidelines. Attendance at all library programs is subject to staff discretion. 

Photo Permission

Library workers often take pictures during library programs to use in promotional materials and online. If you do not want your photo used, contact programs@mfplibrary.org.

Join us for specialty boardgames like Canvas, Wingspan, and Pandemic. Beginners especially welcome! Enjoy cooperative and solo gaming, competitive as well as collaborative play. This is not your mama’s Monopoly! If you’ve only played traditional boardgames like Scrabble, Sorry!, and Clue, come to expand your boardgame palate with a brand-new favorite or two. 

If you want to share your favorite boardgame or TableTop Game, you are welcome to bring your own games as well! You can bring your friends or come alone, but no matter what, find and connect with people who share your interests. 

If you are new to specialty boardgames, you are welcome to jump in during any session of Boardgame Club. We welcome beginners and we’re happy to learn to play together! 

For now, children ages 14 and up may attend with an adult. This event is intended for adults to be able to connect with each other, engage with an old or new hobby, and escape from the chaos of every day life through play.
